Scott D. Scheer, MSFS®, CLU®, ChFC®, RICP®

Scott D. Scheer is a well-known financial advisor*, specializing in Business Succession/Exit Planning with Family-owned Businesses, Retirement Planning and Legacy Solutions. Scott assists his clients to crystalize their goals and objectives from a personal, business and estate planning perspective.

Scott holds advanced designations such as a Master of Science in Financial Services (MSFS®), Charter Life Underwriter (CLU®), Charter Financial Consultant (ChFC®), Chartered Advisor for Senior Living (CASL®), Certified in Long Term Care (CLTC®) and most recently earned the Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®) designation. He also holds FINRA Series 6, 7, and 63 licenses with NYLIFE Securities. Scott strongly believes that “You must continue to study in this ever-changing business or the business will leave you behind!”

Scott is and has been a Life & Qualifying Member of the Million Dollar Roundtable^ for the past 19 years. He is a Charter member of the Fox River Lions Club and has held many different board positions with them. He currently is serving as club secretary. Scott also was the first member to receive the Melvin Jones Fellow award from his club. He had served as a board member of the Fox Valley Estate Planning Council, Faith Lutheran Church Endowment Committee as well as a few other organizations.

Scott along with his wife Kim and two daughters Stephanie and Katie reside in the Appleton area. When Scott isn’t assisting clients with their needs, he enjoys traveling, fishing, boating, hunting, making some of Wisconsin’s finest maple syrup and spending time with his Family and Friends.
